May Day

May Day Fest 2024

May 4th at Vino’s

Since the late 19th century, socialists have observed International Workers Day on the 1st of May or the first Monday of May. Also known as May Day (from the European celebration of Spring), International Workers Day commemorates the workers and organizers killed during and following the Haymarket Massacre of 1886, as well as the working class struggle for dignity, prosperity, and freedom from exploitation.
